Diagnose common issues before calling a technician.
Pump Failures
Problem: Pump is Completely OFF
- Check Breakers: Check main panel and pool sub-panel. Reset if tripped.
- Check Automation: Ensure system isn't in "Service Mode" or "Sleep".
- Check GFI: Reset any GFI outlets near the pad.
Low Flow / No Prime
Problem: Pump Losing Prime (Air in Basket)
- Water Level: Is water below skimmer? Refill immediately.
- Baskets: Clean skimmer and pump baskets.
- Lid O-Ring: Check pump lid o-ring for cracks. Lubricate it.
If pump is humming or hot, turn off breaker immediately.
